I am in tears😭😭

Your writing makes me feel like I am in the exact moment you are describing right along with you.

Thank you for sharing your story with such honesty and vulnerability

Many of us that love you.. walked in steps near you during this chapter of your life... but not ‘in them’.

This now just happened, and I’m so thankful for your writing and taking me along your journey!

Jamie, thank you for saying that. It is what I am doing, going back to those moments and finding healing in the way I recreate them with the words. It’s often the way forward 💜💜

Of course I was crying reading this as you often make me cry. The song you sang with your niece was beautiful. Such an amazing memory to share. It can be very difficult to see the light when you're feeling so blue about your current situation but you just proved that out of the darkness comes beautiful stars. You inspire me so much! Thank you for sharing!❤️❤️

Thank you Tanya, for your kind and thoughtful feedback. If I've "made you cry," I believe it's because your heart knows darkness and light and that they exist in varying degrees in all of us, a constant yin and yang. I am learning that when we are vulnerable with one another, our connection grows both toward ourselves and to the collective. Simply put, I allow myself to be seen and because of that, others feel seen. I am so grateful I too can find myself in the stories of others.

“Maybe we say no to things that are risky because we don’t feel safe where we are.”

What excellent words to describe life.

I love reading your words and am thankful you are sharing the ‘risky’ parts of your journey.
