Such a powerful blow-by-blow of how resistance seeks to separate us from beauty. And how life can grind us down... especially when we think it *should* have been different than it was. Thank you for this.
Love how you wrote that..."how resistance seeks to separate us from beauty..." The beauty of hopefulness, faith, trust and how we show up. Thank you Vanessa, I may quote you in my part 2
Every morning I hear the deranged robin outside my window chirping and trying to sing its tuneless melody. And that gives me hope. The birds know more than I do. The birds know it's time to mate again and lay beautiful blue eggs in a muddy nest. I love your resistance to the resistance. Onward we go!
Thank you Sandy, for taking the time to read and comment. I love the idea of a deranged robin! The birds know more than we do. Nature often has such wisdom to teach us. I guess I am learning to surrender to the resistance. Happy Spring xo
I have been resisting surrendering to the unknown. Working on sitting in the messy and allowing life to unfold without having all of the answers. It’s been a tough one for me but I am getting there.
Amazing how many things in this world we resist. We put so much energy in paddling upstream instead of surrendering and allowing the current of life to take us
Beautifully said, Jamie. We all have a tendency to do that. It's really freakin challenging to sit in the messy and not have the answers, especially when there is no timeline and we can sometimes not know what to do, or how to do it. Thank you...you will love part 2...there is so much on water
